Here is the video that Hamas released of Gilad Shalit in exchange for the release of 20 Arab women held for planned attacks on Israel. Many were planning to participate in the popular sport of stabbing soldiers, and one had planned to do a suicide bombing.
Israel should build up a better stock of non-lethal Arab prisoners as trading tokens for the videos, soldiers and remains of Israeli soldiers, since prisoners are the preferred currency of Arab terrorist organizations. Then Israel could agree to release 1,000 Arab prisoners for a video, a photo or a piece of clothing, and 10,000 for a casket, and 100,000 for a live man, without releasing murderers or would-be murderers to who might kill someone later.
Nevertheless, it’s good that Gilad Shalit is alive and looked healthy. May he return home alive and may no other Israeli have to die for his freedom. Chag Sameach!
