A guide book for visitors to the mosques of the Temple Mount, published in 1929 (the same year this waqf called for its Arab followers to murder Jews in Hebron and other Jewish towns), did a pretty fair job of explaining the history of the Jewish Temples and said directly that the Temple Mount was of course the site of the Temples, and that from the destruction of the Temple by the Romans to that day (1929), Jews regularly made the trip to Jerusalem to mourn and pray at the Temple Mount.
