Since the late 1980s (H.W. Bush administration) the U.S. has known of the transfer of terrorism from Iran to Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza through Venezuela into South and Central America and presumably across our porous southern U.S. / Mexican border.

The political winds in America are blowing against Obama. Even with his relatively free hand in foreign affairs, the ill winds will necessarily slow him down. Israel should do nothing to smooth his path forward.
