Members of the original Free Gaza ships have announced the establishment of Aloha Palestine, a passenger shipping service running between Palestine and Cyprus on a regularly scheduled route.

Their stated aims are to “fight the enemies of Islam,” in the interests of the Palestinian national project.Their slogan: “death to Israel, and death to the United States.”

That audience is not Israel’s enemies, but the Israeli people. The government knows full well that none of Israel’s enemies take its threats seriously.

This hatred is the root cause of the Arab-Israeli conflict, and only when it is cured will we see true peace and human rights.

The problem is that a anti-Israel UN resolutions generally follow a meeting of the Palestine committee, and Saudi Arabia is floating one now that will illegally call Israeli building in Jerusalem illegal. The US may abstain.
