The first attack on the Twin Towers was not the first attack of Al Qaeda in American territory. The first attack occurred in 1990, and was the assassination of Rabbi Meir Kahane in New York. It was coordinated through the same mosque which coordinated the first attempt to destroy the Twin Towers in New York three years later. But the US government considered it to be just an Arab killing a Jew, and didn’t take it seriously. Today still, the world thinks the issue is Jews vs Arabs, and since the world does not care much for either one, it backs the side which it appears most profitable to back, and again, misses the point.
