On Tuesday, March 30, 2010, our local campus anti-Israel group which has blandly named itself “Coalition for Peace and Justice in the Mideast” instead of its original name of “Stop the 30 Billion to Israel”, had Ziad Abbas speak on campus. Ziad Abbas is a Palestinian propagandist from Dheisha Refugee Camp near Bethlehem, and currently resides in Berkeley, Ca. to work with Barbara Lubin of the Middle East Children’s Alliance, which used to funnel funds to the ISM and Palestinian terror groups until it was found out. The goal of his presence here is to help advance the anti-Israel vision in the US. Barbara’s son is a faculty member at the University of New Mexico, and they and the anti-Israel BDS crowd here frequently have speakers and movies about the “Plight of the Palestinians”. Many of those were produced by Ziad Abbas, (a relative of Mahmoud Abbas, the famous terrorist and con man?) At any rate, Abbas doesn’t seem to be feeling much plight. So you see, it’s all just one big happy family.
Ziad Abbas opened his stirring presentation with the announcement that an innocent school boy named “Mohammed” in Gaza went out out to the streets with his school mates for a Patriotic Land Day riot near the Gaza border, and those cruel Israelis killed him with a single bullet to the heart. Obviously, if the IDF killed an Arab teenager, it was for no reason. We all know Arab youth are gentle, non-political souls, never drafted to further the political goals of their leaders.

It is interesting that according to people like Ziad Abbas, in Palestine most Arab children born have ended up murdered by Israelis for the past 62 years, but the population increases steadily, and there is the “demographic problem”. Also interesting in Palestine is that adults are rarely mentioned as being killed except by other Arabs and targeted assassinations. However, in a rioting crowd of mixed ages, there will be the obligatory “missile strike” and it will only hit children, who are dutifully displayed for the camera. However, I am exaggerating this use of children. Sometimes olive trees are also filmed as casualties, if they are over the age of 1000 years.
You will see this miracle of the children when Mohammed Omer Saleh Al-Moghayer comes to visit next week. Al-Moghayer is a Pallywood producer and exporter of propaganda from Rafah. The Lannan Foundation in Santa Fe gave alot of money ($500,000) and Haymarket Publishing in Chicago revved up a public pressure campaign by anti-Israel people world wide to make the US consulate in the Netherlands go against their better judgment and grant him a visa to come to the US. Now he can come lie to you and collect money to take back to Gaza for killing Jews and politically inconvenient Arabs.
But I digress–this article is about this week’s lies, not next week’s lies.
Interestingly, a few days after Abbas’ eulogy for the murdered Palestinian innocent, the innocent popped up alive at home, he and his “injured” schoolmates. After the fake shooting, they had been hidden away for a few days and then allowed to go home. Much like the first Mohammed scam during the second intifada (Mohammed Al Dura, who was filmed being “murdered” on camera, except there was no blood and he didn’t die), this young man was simply making an acting debut for Pallywood, and providing fodder for the likes of Ziad Abbas, who wants Americans to free Palestine. In English, “Free Palestine” means “Destroy Israel”.
