With the economic problems in the world and the anti-Israel views and efforts of the new US government, seeking out partnerships with other nations in business and otherwise is particularly wise.
TEL AVIV, March 18 (Itar-Tass) – Director-general of the Russian Nanotechnology Corporation Anatoly Chubais arrived in Tel Aviv on a three-day working visit on Wednesday to discuss ways to develop cooperation in cutting-edged technologies between Russia and Israel.
According to the press service of the Russian Nanotechnology Corporation, the Russian delegation will meet representatives of the Israeli Industry and Trade Ministry, and leaders of venture funds and nanotechnology companies. On Thursday, Chubais will be received by Israeli President Shimon Peres. Then the Russian official will have a working meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu who is charged to form a new Israeli government.
Last September the delegation of the Russian Nanotechnology Corporation visited Israel. Israeli scientists and businessmen informed Russian officials about their plans and proposed concrete projects to develop cooperation. According to the press service, “As of today Israel brings closer to leaders of the nanotechnology market – the United States, Germany and Japan and plays one of the major roles in nanotechnology research. Many nanotechnology publications and licenses prove of this.”
