If you aren’t in the SEIU, or a friend of the SEIU, maybe Barack Obama isn’t looking out for you…
You might just call it campaign hype during a presidential election, and there was certainly that. However, the administration’s actions, shown in the justice department, in his ongoing battle against states, and in his economic policies, say that this was a promise he meant to keep, not only to the SEIU, but to all unions and to the political agenda of most unions. A large centralized Federal government and socialism for unions is not so much an ideological preference, as a necessary condition towards gaining and maintaining more power and wealth. The point has long since ceased to be justice for workers, but power for the controllers of workers via unions.
The administration’s apparent approval of using SEIU thugs as private enforcement agents at polls, demonstrations, on campus, at hospitals and anywhere else people oppose them, and his support of the Wisconsin unions vs. the Wisconsin government is also alarming.
