[Dr. Aaron Lerner - IMRA: Strike action at Israel's ports gets next to no media coverage and thus Israeli officials allow the action to drag on even though it is not only increasing the cost of trade with a congestion fee of $125/20 foot container, only the tip of the iceberg, but also causing delays that discourage foreign markets from relying on Israeli supplies.]

Announcement to Customers
Dear Customers
As a result of the sanctions carried out by the port workers, the drop in
output of some 70% and the heavy resulting congestion, Yang Ming Lines has
had to unload the cargo from XI BO HI Voyage 100 at Port Said and likewise
delay additional cargo from other vessels that were unloaded at the port
because of the sanctions.
Yang Ming Lines is doing everything in its power to transfer all the cargo
from Part Said to Israel as quickly as possible in the knowledge that this
will be subject to additional costs.
Yang Ming Lines reserves the right to charge for the additional costs
resulting from the sanctions at the ports.
A final decision on this matter will be made in the coming days.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
Please prepare accordingly.
Best regards,
